A Day in Tiburon

A Day in Tiburon

How To Spend A Day In Tiburon

Tiburon is one of the most scenic towns in Marin with plenty of outdoor activities and dining options for all ages. With sweeping views of Sausalito, San Francisco, and all of the east bay, Tiburon came to play.

Blackies Pasture is an amazing area for a morning stroll as you walk along the bay towards downtown Tiburon for your morning pastry and cup of coffee. One of Marin’s best bakeries, Rustic Bakery, is located just as you arrive into downtown Tiburon and boasts a wide selection of pastries, salads, sandwiches and soups.

Tiburon also hosts an extensive wildlife preserve with many trails for all different types of activities. You could do anything from a short 20 minute walk to a picnic spot or a 3 hour mountain bike ride across the Tiburon hills. After your mid day excursion you may feel like popping into Waypoint Pizza, a small pizza shop at the tip of Tiburon for a slice of pizza or two and a small little picnic in the shoreline park. A fun addition for the kids is the Railroad and Ferry Depot Museum for a quick history lesson on Tiburon’s railroad and ferry network.

As dinner time begins to roll around and the sun begins to set, a nice seafood dinner accompanied by bay and city views at Sam’s Anchor cafe is the place to be. With an extensive menu filled with some of the best seafood marin has to offer and outdoor dining on the deck, Sam’s has it all.

Tiburon is one of those towns that has everything to offer. It is an amazing place to spend a beautiful day getting closer to nature and eating delicious food. Whether you are looking to grab a quick bite or go on a beautiful hike, Tiburon is an amazing place to exceed your needs.
